FOFMI World Convention 2024: A Year of Healing the Brokenhearted

"He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." – Psalm 147:3 (KJV)

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that loveGod, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 (KJV)

This year’s FOFMI World Convention was an extraordinary experience, centeredaround the theme "The Year of Healing the Brokenhearted." From start to finish, the event was filled with impactful moments of worship, fellowship, and outreach that inspired and united everyone in attendance.

Honoring the Veterans

The week began on a high note as the FOFMI team participated in the Veteran’s Day Parade on Monday. This provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with the local community, inviting them to the convention’s onsite
Friday and Saturday sessions, which promised an enriching mix of dynamic speakers, delicious meals, and family-friendly activities.

Powerful Sessions and Time of Fellowship

Midweek, from Wednesday morning through Friday afternoon, attendees joinedvirtual life enrichment sessions designed to empower and inspire. These sessions delivered practical tools, faith-filled insights, and biblical
teachings that touched hearts and minds around the globe.

Friday evening was a time of celebration and gratitude as everyone gathered for a Mediterranean-style dinner honoring veterans and community leaders who have served humanity with distinction. Among the honorees was Overseer Dr. Bishop C. Worthem, whose contributions and leadership were recognized ahead of his
keynote address at the Interfaith University Graduation on Saturday.

WVIU- Ministery Through Performing Arts

Saturday morning saw faith in action as Dr. Victoria "Tori Tellem"Hoffman led a local missions outreach effort. Together with WVIU artists, the team ministered to individuals experiencing homelessness, offering prayer,
support, and resources such as food, hygiene kits, and toiletries. This heartfelt effort brought the convention's theme to life, demonstrating God's love through service.

The celebration continued on Saturday afternoon with electrifying performances by artists including Tori Tellem, Sky, Ms. Lavish, Tom Taylor, Lynn Chen, and C.O.G. the King featuring Slim Breeze.
