M H Outreach Statement of Faith

1. We Believe in One God
   – The Father and Creator of all things, manifested in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who was born of a virgin, crucified for the sins of mankind, resurrected, ascended into Heaven, and will return as the reigning King of kings and Lord of lords.
   (Isaiah 9:6; 1 Timothy 3:16)
2. We Believe the Bible Is Our Sole Guide
   – The Holy Scriptures are the inspired, infallible Word of God and are the final authority for faith and life.
3. We Believe in Repentance
   – Turning away from dead works through godly sorrow and confession of sin.
   (Hebrews 6:1)
4. We Believe in Faith Toward God
   – Trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ for salvation, healing, deliverance, provision, and eternal life.
   (Hebrews 6:1)
5. We Believe in the Doctrine of Baptisms
   – Including baptism in water for the remission of sins and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with power for service.
   (Hebrews 6:2; Acts 2:38)
6. We Believe in the Laying on of Hands
   – For impartation, healing, ordination, commissioning of ministry gifts, and spiritual elevation.
   (Hebrews 6:2; 1 Timothy 4:14)
7. We Believe in the Resurrection of the Dead
   – That all who have died will be raised bodily: the saved to everlasting life, and the lost to eternal judgment.
   (Hebrews 6:2; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
8. We Believe in Eternal Judgment
   – The righteous will receive eternal life, and the wicked will be judged and cast into everlasting punishment.
   (Hebrews 6:2; Revelation 20:11–15)
9. We Believe in Going On to Perfection
   – As commanded in Hebrews 6:1-3, we strive for maturity in Christ, pressing forward in our calling as overcomers through faith.
   (Hebrews 6:3)
